BIS PUBLISHES AWR DRAFT GUIDELINES

On 1st April we were provided with the draft AWR guidance via the BIS website.  The guidelines are currently a work in progress and are available for anyone to make constructive suggestions during the next two weeks.

 It is expected that the AWR’s final format will be available on 1st June 2011 with the regulations being implemented on 1st October 2011.

Although the current draft has clarified some areas that were previously unclear, there are still some areas where some questions remain unanswered. The final form of the regulations is scheduled to be published in June 2011 giving all recruitment businesses adequate time to tailor the right solutions to each client.

Here at Concept, we believe the key to adapting to this significant change is for recruitment businesses to work closely with their clients in order to ensure compliance when the clock starts ticking.  As an expanding recruitment business we are working not only with our clients but also ensuring that our own staff are fully trained and competent when having to face the challenges that the AWR will bring.
