The Job
Our Barnsley based client is a leading supplier of to the aerospace, defense, nuclear & petrochemical industries. Due to an increase in business they have vacancies for 2 x CNC Operators to join their production team
Duties will be to operate a number of cnc waterjet cutting machines, ensuring optimum speed and feed.
You will be responsible for first off inspection and basic machine maintenance
Candidates should have previous experience of CNC machinery operation in an engineering / manufacturing environment
The ideal candidate needs to understand engineering drawing and be able work to close tolerances
Experience in the WaterJet / Laser cutting industry is an advantage but training will be given on all machinery to the right candidate
You will need to be a team player with an eye for quality & a flexible approach towards work hours
Starting on days, shift working / overtime / occasional weekend will be required to meet workload requirements
This is a permanent position for the right person following successful completion of a trial period
Pay rate is 6.50 to 8.50 depending on skill level.
