The Job
Our Rotherham based client is a leading supplier to the Oil and Gas industry. They have a requirement for a CNC Miller
Candidates must be apprentice trained and have a least 5 years experience of working in an engineering machine shop environment.
Working on milling machines from 3.5mtr up to 10mtr bed all with heidenhain controls, you must be confident on working to close tolerance and using a wide range of tooling and measuring equipment.
You must be able to read customer and in process engineering drawings.
You need to be a good communicator who is prepared to work as part of a team and willing to help train or pass on any skills relevant to his work duties.
Working a 12hr shift pattern days and nights over a four day period days.
Starting pay rate is £11.00 with T1/3 shift allowance for nights. This could increase upto £14.30 depending on experience / skill level
Extra overtime working will be available as required by the organisation. All over time paid at time and a half
This is a permanent position for the right person following successful completion of a 13 trial.
When permanent you will be entitled to monthly bonus and loyalty bonus
